Social Media Secrets

There are a myriad of excuses that hear when I ask my potential clients this question:

“What is your biggest struggle with your social media?”

Some of them include the fact that they don’t have time. Okay! That is totally VALID. Another one is that they don’t know what to post - also, VALID. That’s why we brainstorm together. Others fall under the category of that they start doing their social media, consistently, then they get busy and fall out of practice.

These are all very valid and understandable reasons why social media falls by the wayside when it comes to business.

Thankfully for you and your business, there are several solutions to this problem. These are the things that the big social media agencies don’t want you to know. Here are just a few:

  1. Organization

You may be super duper organized in every aspect of business but the way you organize is important, too. If you organize yourself to do your social media every morning, you may be getting it done but you may not be hitting your audience at the right time. So, when you organize, keep a schedule and make sure you’re paying enough attention to your analytics, too. They will help you to reach YOUR audience at the right times.

  2. Scheduling your posts

Instead of spending every morning thinking of a witty caption and content, take one hour out of each week and schedule your content. That way, when you’re sitting at your desk on a Wednesday and you are drowning in calls, Zoom meetings, and answering emails, you know your social media is ready and on deck to go out while you’re running around your home office.

  3. Stock photos

When you don’t have your own content or don’t have time to produce your own content, I have some very important resources that may be of great service to you. When you’re working on Canva (specifically, Canva Pro) you have access to hundreds of free stock photos. This is the same on Hootsuite. However, the great thing about Canva Pro is that you can add your own little flair to the stock photo.

  4. Brainstorm sessions

Can’t think of content on your own? Get a brainstorm/accountability partner! They are great at encouragement, helping you with roadblocks, and getting you to that next step. It’s wonderful to be able to encourage each other to be the best business owner you can be for your business.

  5. Outsourcing

If those things don’t work for you and you still don’t have time to do any of these things, outsource the tasks you can’t complete on your own. Whether that’s creating a social media brand kit or creating a schedule to stick to or doing the entirety of what you need done, a professional can be that person to get it done.

I hope you were able to learn a little more about the social media world and how it’s important that you have this knowledge to be able to make these choices for YOU. Comment below what the biggest social media struggle is for you and I will do my best to find a resolution for you in my reply.
