How can I market when we're facing uncertainty?

Digital Marketing in a normal setting can be hard to plan more than a month away. What about when you don’t know where your business is going to be in two months? three months? six months? a year from now? That is what we’re faced with when it comes to this whole pandemic. We are facing uncertainty in business that, ultimately, will create difficult circumstances when it comes to marketing, digitally and traditionally.

Here’s my answer to that problem - pivot to fit the current circumstance.

At the end of the day, your business will work for you as long as you put in the time and effort to pivot during these trying times. The best part about the uncertainty is that you can go in any direction that you want to. Whether that’s creating a whole online market place or doing webinars on a weekly basis, you can do anything that you set your mind to in the digital space. The internet is the limit!

So, what do you do when you don’t know where to start? Ask around. There is a BIG network of people out there that are willing to help you and the rest of the business community. As business owners, we have to be looking out for each other.

“What if I don’t have time?” Outsource your digital setting up, content, social strategy, website set up, etc.

There are so many businesses out there that are there as a resource to help you get to where you need to get to. Outsourcing is a wonderful option when you don’t have time for certain things. Also, make sure you focus on what you’re good at and what you can outsource.

Every business will approach this time differently and it is OKAY to go in a different direction. Make sure whatever you do is right for you.
